The Ultimate Writing and Creativity Center combines simple writing and creativity tools with special educational features that help children learn to write.
Kids begin in an exciting world filled with interesting facts, imaginative ideas and interactive characters. Penny, an onscreen friend, coaches young writers through the five stages of the writing process: prewriting, drafting, revising, editing and presenting.
There are interesting lands, rain forest, desert, space and ocean, to help kids with writing ideas. Over 1000 animated objects can spark a creative notion.
In Picture Place, young authors can paint their own pictures or add clip art, photos, sound, music, animations and backgrounds to their creations. Students can create reports, illustrated storybooks, newsletters, journals, signs and poems.
Kids choose fonts in a variety of sizes, styles and colors. There is an easy cut, copy and paste feature, spell checker, children's dictionary and thesaurus. Children can import text and graphics or choose from 900 clip art pictures and borders.
