Does this software come in the retail box?

All the software at Planet CD-ROM is new. Most of our software is packaged in a jewel case or paper sleeve. Why? Because manufacturers strip the outer packaging in order to save on shipping and storage costs.

That means we can pass the savings on to you, our customer. You receive the same full-version software that you see in the stores, while saving time and money.

We always list the type of packaging for each title on the detailed product page - it's right underneath the picture of the software. Here is a description of the types of packaging we may offer:

Jewel case
CD-ROM is in the original jewel case. Includes the paper inserts originally packaged in the jewel case, unless otherwise stated in our online catalog.

Sleeve
CD-ROM is in a new plain paper sleeve. (Help files and/or a user manual can be accessed from within the program after installation.)

Sleeve with manual
CD-ROM is in a new plain paper or cardboard sleeve. The original manual or instruction sheet is included.
