The following information is from the manufacturer (Atari):
Controller: Setup information (controller/joystick)
Modify in game options - Controller/Joystick
1.Start the game
2.Highlight Options and push Enter
3.Highlight Controls then push Enter
4.This page is divided into two sections, the top is 1UP and the bottom is 2UP. The first thing highlighted is Keyboard. Press left or right to change it to Controller.
5.Push down to highlight the first control option, "Up" (it highlights in purple).
6.Push Enter and it will highlight the control in Red, then press the key or button you want Up assigned to. Repeat for Down, Left, and Right. Press Esc when you are done.
Configure your controller/joystick for use with your system
To setup/calibrate a controller in Windows XP:
1.Click the Start button.
2.Click Control Panel. If you don't have a Control Panel icon, click Start, Settings, then Control Panel.
3.Click the Game Controllers icon. If you don't have a Game Controllers icon, click Printers and Other Hardware then Game Controllers.
4.Make sure that your controller is showing up in the Game Controllers window. If it is not showing up or the status is Not Connected, make sure that you have installed the controller properly according to the manufacturer's instructions. Contact the controller manufacturer if you have any problems.
To calibrate the joystick:
1.In the Game Controllers window, click the controller you want to calibrate, and then click Properties.
2.On the Settings tab, click Calibrate, and then follow the instructions on your screen.
