In XP an error message comes up and the program closes

This title must be run in compatibility mode in Windows XP. Follow these steps:

1. Install software like normal, if you have not already done so.
2. Single left click the START icon from the taskbar.
3. Single left click "All Programs".
4. Single left click "IBM and Crayola".
5. Single left click the title of your Crayola product.
6. Single right click on the title of your Crayola product.
7. Single left click "Properties".
8. Single left click "Compatibility".
9. Under compatibility mode section, click check box to insert a green check mark beside "run this program in compatibility mode for:"
10. Single left click the drop down menu (will appear when you click on "Windows 95" box) and select "Windows 98/Windows ME".
11. For more information single left click "program compatibility."
12. Click apply.
13. Click OK.

The program will remember your settings and will use this setting each time you run the program.
