Does it work on Windows 7 or XP?
The CD I received doesn't list Windows 7 or XP.
If we list the program as Windows XP or Windows 7 compatible, that means that we have tested it on our own test computers and found that it worked on Windows XP or Windows 7. We test all of our software on Windows XP, Windows 7 and earlier Windows systems, even if the original CD-ROM does not list them. If it passes our test, the compatible systems are then listed on the software page in our catalog.
What does this mean for you? When you receive your CD-ROM, the package may not list Windows XP or Windows 7 as a compatible system, even though our catalog page says it will work on XP or Windows 7. This is because the program was manufactured before Windows XP or Windows 7 was available. If you order a product that we list for Windows XP or Windows 7, and it does not work on your system, please contact http://support.selectsoft.com before returning the item -- Selectsoft can help you install the program. If they are unable to help, please contact our customer service and we will do our best to help.
A word about Windows 7 64-bit. When Windows 7 was first released many systems started off with 32-bit versions of Windows 7, however most all systems (except for netbooks with Windows 7 Starter) now come in 64-bit Windows 7. During our initial testing for Windows 7, we only had 32-bit Windows 7, so if you have a Windows 7 64-bit system, it's possible it may not work. We are in the process of updating our site to show Windows 7 32-bit only support, in comparison to Windows 7 64-bit or 32-bit support. If you have an issue with running or installing a program on your Windows 7 64-bit operating system, please contact http://support.selectsoft.com as the majority of our Windows 7 products are supplied by Selectsoft.
